Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this B&B polar white RV multi-purpose hatch. This locking molded plastic hatch is going to give you exterior access for a fuel fill or port, and the open back is going to ensure maximum access to the fill or port. And before we go any further, let me go ahead and just give you some overall dimensions so you can be confident this is going to work for you. So looking at the outside width, we're pretty close to 12-5/8 inches end to end. Then the height from bottom to top, right at about 7-3/4 inches tall.
And then looking at the cutout, beginning with the width, we're sitting right at about 11-1/16 inches wide. And on the height, right about six inches tall. And then let me see if I can give you the collar depth while we're here. Collar depth, if you can see that, about 1-1/8. Now, this hatch flange is going to secure to your exterior wall with the supplied screws that you see here.
And this is made here in the USA of UV stabilized plastic, so this is not going to fade or yellow. It's going to do a great job of resisting road salt. It's gonna hold up really well to the elements that it's constantly exposed to. It does include a key so you can lock this. So let me turn this around just so you can see how that lock is attached there when it's in the locked position.
Reinsert the key, give it a turn, unlock it, and then that's going to allow access just like that. So this does include everything that you see here on my table before me. This is NSF, CSA, and TEI certified. And I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Looks like a fine access door. I have yet to install it but the unit seems complete. Just what I needed.
The door itself was good quality. The lock used was of poor quality, using only a cheap clip to hold it in place. The lock would not hold the top of the door closed, which would let the tv tires throw water right into the compartment the door was attached to. Purchased another lock that used a nut to hold the lock securely in place and the door is now closed properly.
